OK. You used a blonde formula which. created sufficient "lift" at the scalp.. but.. this blonde ROOT RETOUCH looks golden-yellow.. brassy.
SOLUTION: Eliminate this "too warm, too bright" result without darkening the hair. Use an
acidic demi hair color. My experience: DO NOT attempt to lighten that root area further. This
can create scalp irritation AND will cause you more tonal issues than you deserve!
Recommended Demi Formulas:
2 oz SEQ 09N mixed with equal parts SEQ PROCESSING SOLUTION
or, for very pale blondes:
2 ounces of SEQ 010T. mixed with equal parts SEQ PROCESSING SOLUTION
Or, Artego Beauty Fusion 9.11 mixed with equal parts of 5 volume developer
Or, Rusk Deep Shine Platinum, mixed with equal parts of 5 volume developer
Seat the client at a chair.. for easy application. On her damp hair, apply this "cooling"
formula to the golden-yellow area close to the scalp. Take fine, even sections. At times,
you will see that the nape of the hair looks OK.. If so, you can avoid application to that
area. Allow this corrective shade to process at room temperature for 10 mintues. DO NOT
bring this formula into the hair lengths unless that hair is also too golden/yellow. After
processing, rinse the hair thoroughly. Shampoo condition and enjoy a beautiful blonde result.
